Some views of Brooklyn Bridge Park...

Before... After....
The Manhattan Bridge towers over the newest section of Park, designed by the City Parks Department.
The old "Main Street Lot" is now a bustling playground where kids get great views instead of cars...
The newest hot spot for shell collectors: this rocky beach along the East River.
The connection between Main Street and Empire-Fulton Ferry now offers less fence and more views.

A new boardwalk, graced with classic World's Fair benches, now runs along Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park and the East River.
The Water Street entrance of Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park. The restored Tobacco Warehouse is on the left.
From parking lot (1999) to park (2003) ...the view of Brooklyn Bridge Park, looking north from the Brooklyn Bridge walkway.

Pier 4 & uplands from above -- before and after its transformation into an interim garden.

From the air: Piers 5 - 1 on the southern end of Brooklyn Bridge Park.

New York Water Taxi has brought ferry service back to the
Brooklyn waterfront, at Fulton Ferry Landing.

The view from "podium park" just south of the Brooklyn Bridge, adjacent to Fulton Ferry Landing and the River Cafe.
